This exciting initiative invites local businesses to rally their employees, build stronger teams, and prioritize wellness while participating in one of the region’s most celebrated running events.

The Run Madtown Corporate Challenge presented by the Wellness Council of Wisconsin aims to bring businesses together in a fun and energetic way, offering a platform where employees of all fitness levels can run, jog, walk or even volunteer in any of the three events. Whether they are seasoned runners or first-time participants, employees will have the opportunity to bond with their coworkers, improve their fitness, and engage in a community-wide event that showcases the best of Madison.

    Rules:

    • Each team must have at least one male, female, and someone 35+ (one person can satisfy two of these)
    • Part-time and full-time employees qualify (contracted employees do not qualify)
    • Minimum 3 people per team (per event distance) for scoring
    • Must have at least one office/location in WI
    • Must have 25 participants (athletes and volunteers combined) to be eligible for a space at the post race party

Belonging in Action | Beyond the Buzzword

    This isn’t a presentation. It’s a practice space.

    Let’s move past the surface.
Belonging is more than a feel-good value—it’s an everyday practice that can either build connection or create distance. But many conversations around belonging stay vague, idealistic, or stuck in theory.

    This session is different.
Join fellow DEI, wellness, and workplace culture leaders for a real, peer-driven conversation about how belonging is actually being approached inside organizations—what’s working, what’s hard, and where the disconnects still live.

This is Part 1 of a two-part series designed to go deeper. In this session, we’ll explore:

    • How is belonging truly positioned in your organization—and does that match what people experience?
    • What everyday behaviors or systems are helping—or hurting—a culture of inclusion?
    • What’s the hardest part of making belonging stick?

    What You’ll Get:

    • Honest conversation with peers (no slides, no lectures)
    • Fresh insight and next-step ideas for your own strategy
    • A shared space to name challenges and trade solutions
    • A sense of community and momentum for the work ahead

Come ready to talk, reflect, and share. Your voice is part of the learning.
