Location: US:WI:MENOMONEE FALLS at our CP-NORTH HILLS HEALTH CENTER facility.
*1.0 FTE is Full-Time any position less than 1.0 FTE is Part-Time and .001 FTE is Optional Part-Time*

Shift: Shift 1
Under the direction of the medical director and occupational health leadership team the WFH Occupational Health Manager has primary operational responsibilities for all F&MCW external occupational medicine practice(s). This position leads a multidimensional team of occupational health nurses licensed practical nurses medical assistants and office assistants in the delivery of occupational medicine services for employers/clients. This individual will be responsible for assuring the effective and efficient coordination of department functions including pre-placement physicals medical surveillance work injury care exposure follow up and other employer-related health and safety programs. This position is responsible for managing and staffing related to all external occupational medicine practice(s) and the development of and adherence to department budgets. This individual will be accountable for process improvement strategies. This position will also be responsible for collaborating with F&MCW internal occupational health leadership and staff on specific occupational health projects which create efficiencies between F&MCW external and internal occupational health delivery models. Examples of such projects include the use of the Agility occupational health software system-wide drug & alcohol testing scheduling and billing. Other duties as assigned.
- A minimum of five years of Healthcare leadership experience in occupational health or other comparable clinical experience is required.
- Bachelor's degree in a healthcare related field is required.
- BSN degree is preferred.
- COHN (Certified Occupational Health Nurse) is preferred.
- If RN requires current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse Licensure or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact).
- If other licensed healthcare professional current state of Wisconsin license is required.
Knowledge of current occupational health best practices applicable laws and regulations. Analytical skills and judgment necessary to resolve complex issues and to create and implement effective programs across the organization. Effective interpersonal skills necessary to communicate with staff at all levels within the organization. Customer service orientation. Excellent organizational skills including process/detail focus and demonstrated ability to drive projects to completion. Expertise in the use of computer programs including Word spreadsheets HR information systems e-mail and use of the internet. Familiarity with case management programs.
