How You’ll Make a Difference:
Coordinates the operations of work-site wellness programs and on-site nursing programs through program promotion and coordination of the delivery of services. Seeks to introduce, educate and promote the organization's wellness products, services, and resources to prospective clients, and works to expand sales and maintain relationships with existing clients. Collaborates with clients in identifying their onsite health and wellness needs, creating a customized program, and collaborating with operational leaders to ensure proper delivery of program services. Coordinates provision of services such as: health screenings, educational seminars, vaccination and wellness programs.
Collaborates in developing, marketing, and implementing the operating plan for the provision of health and wellness services provided to client companies: health risk assessments, health screenings (cholesterol, blood pressure, vaccinations, etc.), wellness consulting and educational programs (smoking cessation, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), medic first aid, blood borne pathogens and wellness education.)
Promotes maximum use of health risk assessment (HRA) partner tools by providing customized health and wellness programs to meet client needs; to increase health awareness, improve employee health, increase program exposure, and grow employer loyalty and satisfaction. Effectively utilizes HRA data/tools to create a plan for the employer that maximizes dollar investment and shows cost savings.
Works directly with the health risk assessment partner(s) and supervisor to coordinate superior implementation and delivery of program services.
Responsible for developing and preparing proposals, programs, and presentations that respond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) or requests from sales team or other company clients. Evaluates appropriateness of health fair requests and coordinates the set up. Coordinates all facets of onsite flu/vaccination program to company clients.
Works closely with supervisor in coordinating the implementation and delivery of total health programs; manages inventory control, project set-up and equipment delivery and maintenance. Negotiates service agreements/pricing for contracted services with clients.
Participates in the development of strategic marketing initiatives for new business development and expansion of current wellness programs to existing clients. Works with sales and business development to promote the program through presentations.
Assists in establishing long-term relationships with employers and community groups to maintain and increase services provided and to assure the highest level of client satisfaction possible.
Promotes work-site wellness programs throughout the organization to business market leadership and staff; provides educational/informative training regarding services.
License & Certifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Health Science.
Typically requires 5 years of experience in corporate wellness or occupational health that includes experiences in wellness and health promotion, adult teaching, and patient education / counseling.
Exceptional interpersonal, communication (oral and written), and organization skills.Excellent consultative, relationship building and problem solving skills.Demonstrated ability to comfortably and professionally present educational seminars to small and large groups.Ability to develop and oversee the implementation and marketing of new programs. Demonstrated project coordination skills (delegation, prioritization, high attention to detail).Intermediate computer skills using Microsoft office applications (word, excel and powerpoint), and electronic mail.
