Since 2011, WCWI has supported member employers in 650 consultations on the Well Workplace checklist, Well Workplace Award, Benchmark components and Well City involvement. Since 2014, WCWI has supported over 200 employers in their achievement of a Well Workplace Award designation

The Well Workplace Award designation is awarded throughout the year to employers from around the nation that have implemented corporate health initiatives to improve the lives of their employees. The Well Workplace Awards initiative is driven by a rigorous set of criteria outlined in WELCOA’s seven benchmarks to a results-oriented Well Workplace. Since its inception in 1991, over 1,000 organizations, ranging from educational institutions to non-profit and profit sectors have joined the list of “America’s Healthiest Companies” by receiving the Well Workplace Award.
