He spent almost a decade of his career launching two brands--StoryBrand and Business Made Simple--as COO alongside New York Times bestselling author Donald Miller. Before his time at StoryBrand and Business Made Simple, Tim worked at TOMS as well as Apple Inc. He is the host of the Build a Winning Team podcast, where he offers listeners actionable advice as he interviews some of the top leaders in business. Tim lives in Nashville, Tennessee, with his wife, Katie, and their two kids.

Morning Keynote: The Secret Society of Success: Building What Tomorrow Looks Like for Employee Wellbeing

There’s a message getting a lot of airtime these days. It says to be successful, you have to chase whatever version of success that’s been dangled in front of you. But what if there’s another way? What if there’s an entirely different way to define success for employees and their wellbeing? In this keynote, Tim Schurrer will invite you to change the narrative of how employees view a meaningful and impactful life and career.

Tim will guide you with the insight of the Secret Society—a community of people who know how to make an impact, whether they have the spotlight or not. Tim’s stories of the Secret Society will teach you to:

  • Consider a new definition of success for employees and their wellbeing
  • Contribute to your team and your organization’s culture without minding who gets the credit
  • Make an impact that spans far beyond yourself, regardless of the size of your platform or your role
  • Go from feeling anxious, overwhelmed, and restless to being confident in the value you bring to the team and to your organization

Afternoon Keynote: Your Invitation to Join Wisconsin’s Secret Society of Success

We, together, are Wisconsin’s Secret Society of Success for employee wellbeing! During this session, Tim will help us write our very own new definition of success to build what tomorrow looks like for employee wellbeing. In this interactive keynote, together we’ll strengthen our own Secret Society to:

  • Write a new definition of success for employee wellbeing in Wisconsin and beyond
  • Discover how the new definition of success shapes personal & organizational behaviors and motivates how you show up
  • Commit to actions within yourself, your team, and your organization that will allow you to use this definition of success as your new baseline
