What does this nomination and selection mean to you?
I am truly honored and appreciate the opportunity to be recognized and placed among the top professionals in the wellbeing industry. It feels great to be recognized for something I feel so passionate about.
 
What is one long term goal you have for your organization’s employee wellbeing strategy, or those of the employers you serve?
My goal is to truly engage and positively impact the wellbeing of Kohler associates across the globe. I know it’s a lofty goal, but I truly care about each and every associate and will continually look for ways to make a difference.  Along with the support of leadership and my team, I will identify gaps and implement minimum standards of care for Kohler associates in every region across the globe. I will continue to expand our offerings to address all areas of wellbeing and will find ways to better educate and help our associates navigate to relevant programs and resources at the time they need it most. 
 
What is your vision for the future of employee wellbeing?
My vision is to create an environment that provides opportunities for our associates to flourish in all areas of their life. To connect associates to greater meaning and purpose and demonstrate how their contributions make a difference. To provide programs and resources that enhance the physical, emotional, and financial health of our associates and their families all with a goal of contributing to a higher level of gracious living for our associates and those they serve.
 
How does your work contribute to transforming Wisconsin’s workforce?
It’s definitely a team effort! I couldn’t do it without the support of Dan Velicer, VP of Global Benefits, and Erin Schad, Benefits Analyst - Wellness, in addition to all the support we receive from HR and our wellness champions. It feels great to work for a company who invests in their people and truly cares about creating a positive culture. In partnership with other Kohler programs such as Stewardship, Sustainability, Engagement, Diversity & Inclusion, Benefits, Kohler Learning Academy and others, we all play an integral role in positively impacting the health and wellbeing of our associates. At Kohler, we believe happy, healthy associates make stronger, heathier communities so we make it a priority to care for our associates health and wellbeing.
 
If you were to create a slogan for your life, what would the slogan be?
Never settle for anything less than extraordinary.
