Exploring the Benefits of WCWI's Member-Exclusive LEAD Workshops

 

Join WCWI's member-facilitated learning experience to enhance your knowledge and expertise in employee well-being strategies. This workshop brings together key stakeholders such as well-being strategists and employee experience experts from across Wisconsin. As a collective, our mission is to improve the well-being of the state's workforce. Our diverse Membership Community comprises people leaders, well-being strategists, and employee support professionals from different backgrounds, industries, regions, and talents. By participating in this workshop, you can look forward to shared stories, small-group discussions, and actionable tools and resources to bolster your organization's well-being strategy. This special learning experience is offered to our Members at no cost, focusing on our four competencies that guide the 12-month member experience: Unite + Build, Empower + Equip, Advocate, and of course, LEAD. Join us as we continue to transform the well-being of Wisconsin's workforce.

Cultivating Connection: Strategies to Combat Loneliness in the Workplace

October 17, 2024 | 2:00-3:15 PM | Zoom Virtual Workshop

 

Join us for an engaging virtual workshop designed to tackle the growing challenge of workplace loneliness. Erin Schad, Wellness Program Manager at Kohler Co., and Kristi Schildt, HRMS/Wellness Administrator from Delta Dental, will share proven strategies to foster employee connection through initiatives like Employee Resource Groups, community events, and volunteer days. This interactive session will include breakout discussions and reflection time, offering attendees the chance to exchange ideas and consider how these practices can be applied within their own organizations. Don’t miss this opportunity to explore practical approaches to creating a more connected and supportive work environment.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Identify Strategies: Attendees will learn to identify and understand effective strategies, such as Employee Resource Groups, community events, partnering with other organizations, and organization volunteer days, that can be implemented to combat loneliness and foster connections within the workplace.
  2. Apply Best Practices: Participants will be equipped to apply best practices from Kohler Co. and Delta Dental to their own organizations, adapting these approaches to fit their unique workplace cultures and employee needs.
  3. Facilitate Engagement: Attendees will gain insights into facilitating and sustaining employee engagement through intentional connection-building activities, with opportunities to discuss and reflect on how these strategies can be personalized for their teams during breakout discussions.
