Skill Building Session I
Title: Embracing The Human Experience to Create a Thriving Workforce
Speaker: Cheryl Mealey, BS, CHES, Principal, Mercer Employee Health and Benefits
Description: As organizations rethink their business models to harness the power of technology and adjust to a fast-changing world, it’s clear they can’t succeed without making people a priority. Artificial intelligence, robotics, 3-D printing, drones and wearables are rapidly integrating into the work environment. Change is the name of the game. What is the value of an energized and engaged employee? Is your worksite wellness program seen as a key tenet in the war for talent, or does your approach contribute to disengagement and turnover? In this environment it’s more important than ever for companies to take a leading role in caring for the health, wealth and careers of their workforce. Based on research insights from 800 business executives, 1,800+ HR professionals, and 5,400+ employees from 44 countries and 21 industries this session will illuminate 3 key trends that impact your worksite wellness program: A Workplace for Me, Working with Purpose, and Diversity & Inclusion.
