According to a report by the Global Wellness Institute, only 37% of employees surveyed reported that their company “cares” about their personal wellness. This has major implications on overall employee well-being, engagement, productivity, stress levels and more. As a wellness leader, join this session to learn strategies to sincerely demonstrate care and compassion for your employees and their well-being. Explore ideas to help you practically demonstrate care within all touchpoints of the employee lifecycle to help your people thrive.

  • Identify ways they are supporting their own personal wellbeing and one area of opportunity.
  • Define the employee lifecycle and the touchpoints for care and wellbeing across their experience.
  • Understand the connection between authentic caring and employee well-being, satisfaction and productivity.
  • Discover new ways of demonstrating care and compassion throughout the employee lifecycle.

Speaker Biography: 

Molly Heisterkamp is the Wellness & Disease Management Program Manager for the Wisconsin Department of Employee Trust Funds. The program is available to more than 160,000 participants enrolled in the State of Wisconsin Group Health Insurance Program. A Certified Health Education Specialist, Molly has committed her career to supporting employees from a variety of different industries with reaching their well-being goals. She has driven the accomplishment of a Platinum Well Workplace Award through the Wellness Council of America for two of her previous employers and has presented various conference workshops hosted by the Health Enhancement Research Organization, University of Wisconsin-Madison and the Wellness Council of Wisconsin.
