Innovative companies are setting the bar high with design elements that are intended to combat the negative side effects that come as a byproduct to spending a majority of our time inside. This session explores why this trend is gaining such popularity and how you can leverage industry tools and research to use a data-driven approach to healthier design. In reviewing key pieces of industry research, the session aims to illustrate how organizations can build, scale and sustain a culture of health through real estate decisions.
Learning Objectives:
  • Explore how organizations build, scale, and maintain a culture of health
  • Identify environmental factors which influence health and well-being.
  • Identify areas in which design comes into conflict with wellness programs or workplace culture.
  • Identify health promotion strategies and opportunities through relevant research and industry tools.

This program is an approved provider of continuing education units (CEUs) through NWI and NCHEC.
