The Gift of Growth

Learning and growing through work experiences is the pinnacle of employee engagement. During the past three decades, Gallup has asked 35 million employees to rate the following statement on a 5 point scale: “This last year, I have had opportunities at work to learn and grow.” Learning and growing is a continuous experience for employees and is a basic human need that never goes away. It is also very specific to individuals based upon their perspective and position within the organization. In this session, attendees will gain insights and tactics to create a constituent’s eagerness to confidently answer a 5 to the statement above.
- Make strides in upskilling champions and leaders within organizations so they are comfortable and competent with integrating elements of wellbeing into everyday conversations.
- Help colleagues find and activate their innate talents and develop them into strengths and competencies that contribute to growth for the individual and the organization.
- Offer constituents tools needed to lay the foundation for adapting from reactive growth dictated by a pandemic to proactive progression controlled by individuals’ purpose and mission.

Ryan Wolf is a wellbeing consultant for Gallup clients and its associates. He leads Gallup’s wellbeing strategies through partnerships with its research team, business channels, benefits department, consulting practice, and wellness partners.
