Well City Oshkosh’s mission to improve the health and productivity of our workforce, reduce the burden of healthcare costs, and reinforce Oshkosh reputation as a great place to live.
 
Well Oshkosh logoThe need for the Well Oshkosh initiative is critical as more and more employers are looking to wellness programs to help combat rising annual health insurance rates. Our job, as the Well Oshkosh Task Force, is to provide wellness leadership to Oshkosh while supporting wellness initiatives that will assist in stabilizing the double digit insurance rate increases that many companies are experiencing.

The Well Oshkosh taskforce arose from the Oshkosh Business Coalition on Health when the OBCOH board decided to move the initiatives of OBCOH to working toward a Well City designation. Since the decision, interest was gauged by discussions with area CEOs and community leaders. The employers united under the Well Oshkosh initiative committing to earning the Well Workplace designation by WELCOA.
